Reading this website
You can read the articles without creating an account. This version of the site does not have an email signup form or advertising pixels. Optional Google Analytics is described below. Our separate aggregate counters do not use cookies.
Basic website statistics
We count aggregate page views and clicks on links to our Facebook page. These counters store the date, page and a broad source category such as Google or YouTube. They do not store your email, name, browser fingerprint or IP address. They are estimates of activity, not counts of verified people or Facebook follows.
Optional Google Analytics
Google Analytics loads only after you choose “Allow analytics.” It uses cookies to measure visits, basic browser/device information, broad location, how readers arrive and whether they return. We measure page views, calculator use, social-link clicks and requests to print the checklist. We do not send calculator entries, names or email addresses to Google. Page addresses exclude query strings, and referring addresses are reduced to their origin.
Google Analytics advertising personalization and Google signals are disabled in our tag. See how Google uses information from sites that use its services and Google’s Analytics opt-out tool.
Your analytics choice is stored on this device for up to 180 days. You can change it through “Analytics preferences” in the footer. Declining removes this site’s Analytics cookies and stops collection after the page reloads. Blocking cookies or scripts may make visit and returning-reader counts incomplete.
Desk animation
The moving candlesticks are decorative artwork. They do not show stock prices or a market data feed. You can pause ambient motion using the button in the navigation.
Hosting
The site is hosted by Hostinger. Its infrastructure may process technical access or security information, including IP addresses, separately from our aggregate counters. See Hostinger’s privacy policy for its practices.
External links
Links to Facebook, Instagram, Investor.gov and other sources open services with their own policies. When you click a Facebook follow link, Facebook determines whether you are signed in and how the page is displayed.
